As you can see from the above picture, the current issue of the BBC\u2019s Sky at Night<\/em> magazine includes a review of my book Cosmic Impact<\/em>. It\u2019s a really nice review, too, by Katrin Raynor-Evans \u2013 who says, among other positive things: \u201cThe text is superb … It is informative and clear, and May manages to encapsulate everything you need to know about the potential risk to our planet and species.\u201d She gives it four stars out of five.<\/p>\n

Cosmic Impact<\/em> also gets four stars from Brian Clegg, at his Popular Science<\/a>\u00a0 book review site. Again the review has lots of positive comments, including the following:<\/p>\n

This short book is ideal to get a good overview of the subject without having to delve into too much technical detail \u2013 and May makes it approachable by giving the subject context from the many science fiction and popular culture scenarios … where something hits the Earth from outer space.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Finally, although I haven\u2019t seen it myself, I\u2019m told I got a very brief but favourable mention in New Scientist<\/em>, in the issue dated 2 February 2019. It\u2019s in the \u201cDon\u2019t Miss\u201d column, under the subheading \u201cRead\u201d. After recommending the Penguin Book of Outer Space Exploration<\/em> to \u201carmchair adventurers\u201d they go on to say:<\/p>\n
